In Three Steps: How Supplier Search on europages Works

europages is a B2B marketplace built for professional buyers. Its search function supports the B2B purchase process, which makes the results more relevant than those from general search engines. For buyers using a business-to-business marketplace, this means faster and more accurate results.

In this article, you will learn how to use the supplier search on this B2B online marketplace step by step. The process usually includes three stages:

  • The search bar
  • The results page
  • The supplier profiles

Please note: this article focuses on active supplier search on europages.

Step 1: The Search Bar

Every supplier search on europages UK starts by entering a keyword in the search bar. You can search for a product category, a specific product, or a company name.

You do not need to choose in advance whether you are searching for suppliers or products. The platform shows relevant results automatically, making it easier to find suppliers quickly and efficiently.

Step 2: The Results Page

Supplier Results

After starting the search, you will first see a list of suppliers. This overview shows companies that match your search query. Each supplier preview includes key information such as:

  • Company name
  • Supplier location
  • Short company description
  • Certifications
  • Number of employees
  • Year founded
  • Images or videos, if available

Clicking on a company name takes you directly to the supplier profile, which acts as the supplier’s website within the platform.

To refine your results, filters are available at the top of the page. You can narrow your search by:

  • Location
  • Certifications
  • Supplier type
  • Company size
  • Verified profiles

The numbers next to each filter show how many suppliers match that option. This helps buyers quickly decide which filters are useful when building a preferred supplier list or an approved supplier list

Multiple filters can be applied at the same time.

Product Results

Directly below the filter options on europages, you will find tabs for supplier and product search results. Each tab shows how many results it contains. By clicking on the “Products” tab, you can switch to the list of products that match your search on the platform. The results are displayed as short product profiles. In addition to an image, these profiles include the following information:

  • Product name
  • Price, if available
  • Supplier
  • Supplier location

To learn more about a product, move your cursor over the relevant profile. A short product description will appear. By clicking on the profile, you are taken to the product detail page on europages, where you can find a detailed description and contact the supplier directly

The filter options for product search results on europages are shown on the left-hand side. Here, you can narrow your search by product categories and by the supplier’s location.

Tip: Save Search Results

Search results cannot be downloaded, but registered buyers can save relevant companies to a personal list. This helps create and manage a preferred supplier list during the B2B purchase process. Registration is free.

Step 3: The Supplier Profile

Each supplier on europages presents detailed information in a company profile. At the top, you will find:

  • Company name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Website

On the right side, buttons allow you to contact the supplier or save them to your list. The lower section includes certifications, delivery areas, and often a product catalogue.

In many cases, suppliers assign specific contacts to different product categories. This allows buyers to reach the right person directly, saving time and supporting efficient B2B data purchase and purchase B2B leads activities.
